We wish we could have stayed longer and gone on the Golden Eagle tour again. We almost took the cat with us, but we figured there would be plenty more guests for (her?) to charm. Dan and Jenn - New York, USA - My wife and I went to Sint Maarten for our honeymoon. After looking at many resorts and properties, we decided to stay at the Villas of Great Bay. We could not have been happier with our decision. The property managers, Frank and Sandy, made our experience wonderful. They were very knowledgeable about the area, and provided us with all kinds of recommendations for making the most of our week. They even took care of the reservations for the activities that we wanted to do. Upon arrival, we were impressed with the villa. It was very clean, and stocked with snacks and beverages. The location is great because downtown Phillipsburg is just a few short block away. In the evening, it was relaxing to sit on the balcony in the evening and watch the cruise ships in port. My wife and I have agreed that we will be staying at the Villas on Great Bay when we visit the Friendly Island again. Thank you for a vacation we will never forget. Dan and Jenn

Tom and Ginger - This place is amazing. Beautiful view of the bay, great pool, wonderful beach and close to everything we needed. The villa is very clean, comfortable and had everything a person needed to feel like you were at home. This was the most relaxing vacation we have had and highly recommend it. Property Managers Frank and Sandy are the best. They were very helpful with recommendations on dining, shopping and sightseeing. We had wonderful meals from The Greenhouse and Chesterfields. There is a little beach front place down from the Villa that was fun, just walk down the beach and you can't miss it. We did rent a car and it was handy for going to the store. We did a drive around the island and went to Friars Bay on the French side. It was an interesting road to the beach. Back in Kansas we would call it a cow path and sure enough we met a bull walking down the road when we left! The island is beautiful and we are trying to figure out when we can return for another stay at Great Bay.
Malinda - Returned from our 3rd visit to The Villas on Great Bay! The property is so beautiful, comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient. Frank and Sandy are excellent managers and hosts. They do everything to make sure your stay is perfect. The units are beautifully furnished and well equipped. There is a mini-market just around the corner for some quick groceries. I do recommend going to The Grand Marche for any real grocery shopping and stocking up. Best to rent a car on the island; there is so much to do and see. Frank can arrange that. There is always a place to park right out front, too. Great Bay Beach is very nice, but so many other beaches must be seen and visited. It's nice to be able to walk to downtown Philipsburg...either on Front Street or the beach to shop, dine or have a few drinks. The oceanfront pool and grounds are gorgeous. Sitting on the front terrace downstairs or balcony upstairs in the morning or evening is so relaxing, watching the cruise ships come and go...You may never want to leave. We wish we could live in one of the Villas permanently!!! Thank you Frank and Sandy for your hospitality and for taking such great care of this beautiful property!
