Glenn G. and family - Fort Wayne, Indiana - We all know that the enjoyment of any vacation trip depends mostly on who you're with, not where you are! But if you have someone you love, you'll love going to this place. The villa is awesome- far, far better than any hotel room- huge, new, pretty, so so comfortable in every respect, and opens up right onto the beach. We were the first people to stay after the total renovation, and everything is so nice. The managers, Frank and Sandy, are so sweet, you'll want to take them home with you! The short walk on the beach to all the restaurants and shopping is just right and so entertaining (10 minutes). The villa has everything you could ask for, and the WiFi is fast and dependable. The kitchen is so well supplied, I cooked great breakfasts with ease, and even grilled-out one night. The food market is just a half block away, and well supplied. In all our trips, we have never stayed anywhere as nice and comfortable! The view onto Great Bay with the multiple cruise ships is beautiful, and they bring to the shopping area all types with all languages- so entertaining. Our week at Great Bay was wonderful. You must take the $2 bus to Marigot (French Side) and enjoy another totally different culture (great bakery). My wife and daughter were charmed by the whole trip, and so will you be.
Bill, Sue, Rog & Sheryl - We just returned from our “Tropical Paradise Vacation” at The Villas On Great Bay. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend The Villas to anyone interested in a St. Maarten vacation. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Frank, the property manager. He was very friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in condo #2 and found it to be extremely clean and beautifully updated. The grounds were gorgeous with the garden walkway, the nice pool area and the relaxing beach. It was very secure with locked gates and the location was just a short walk to Phillipsburg where all the cruise ships dock. The pier offered great shopping, great dining and spectacular views! So much to do, so much to see but if you are just looking for a relaxing time The Villas provide that as well.

Dean and Robin Bucher - Lititz, Pennsylvania Villas of Great Bay is a fantastic location to stay in Philipsburg. This is our 4th time back and it gets better and better with each visit. We had the privilege of staying in Villa #1 which has been recently renovated by very motivated new owners. Villa #1 is an end unit and right on the beach. Nothing is better than opening the sliding glass doors on the upper level in our bedroom while laying in bed and having a view through palm trees that overlooks the water. Relaxing on the new very large patio just outside the living room or bedroom and watching the Cruise Ships come in each day but yet far enough away that you don’t have to be in the hustle and bustle of all the people. Actually you can see the ocean from any room on the first floor. We were there with another couple and had plenty of room to move around but also privacy if we wanted. The new bathroom is to die for. Very large with a double sink and an open walk in shower. There is a skylight in the bathroom that just makes the bathroom so bright and open. The kitchen is very well equipped and we also enjoyed cooking on the gas grill. Everything has been renovated with very high end quality. The four of us enjoyed laying by the pool and just watching the view. The other renters of the Villas are very friendly if you want to socialize but you also have privacy if you want it. You can walk into town in about 10 minutes from the beach or take about 20 minutes by sidewalk on Front Street. Mangers Frank and Sandy will help you with anything you need from car rental, restaurants, shops, and beach suggestions. Frank delivers a newspaper to your patio each morning so if you choose you can still keep in touch with the outside world while vacationing. We could go on and on we were very happy satisfied renters for 11 glorious days. This is a place that you will want to return to time and time again. We definitely would ask for Villa #1 again. I shouldn’t be saying that because I want it available the next time we come. We don’t want too many people finding this wonderful place.
Capt. Michael Weaver - Syracuse , NY USA I had the oppurtunity to stay at The Villas on Great Bay in January of 2012. I have visited many of the islands in the Caribbean but I must say this is my new favorite. What makes it even better is the beautiful villa that I spent the week in. This place is the perfect combination of convienence and tranquility. The section of beach out front is quiet and the sand and water is amazing. Just a short walk down the beach and you can be into the action. Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, and other island activities are just footsteps away. The property managers Frank and Sandy treated me like gold. They were always there to help with information about local hot spots. The villa itself was very clean, comfortable, and everything I expected and more. I will definately be visiting The Villas again next year. Thanks again for the perfect vacation.

Maryann and John Kress - Pittsburgh Pa. This being our second visit to The Villas on Great Bay speaks to our fondness for the area! Our thanks to you for the continued hospitality extended to us, plus your patience while helping us determine restaurant selection and other events! We have enjoyed meeting several Villa owners and our neighbors from Canada and Kansas this year contributed mightily to our successful vacation. To quote that fellow from Hollywood, "we'll be back".
Janice and Al The Villa's on Great Bay are by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. The relaxed atmosphere, beautiful view and ease to move around the island are all found at the villas. We think the location gives one the opportunity to enjoy the best of all the bay has to offer. Within easy walking distance to the shopping and restaurants of Philipsburg but far enough away to enjoy the quiet beach with a lovely pool to cool off in or a dip in the ocean. We have stayed at the villas twice and will be sure to return again. Our best food tip after traveling around trying some of the different "gourmet restaurants" would be just go down the beach to Carribean Flavour they have great chicken and ribs and a bucket of beer is 10 bucks. Also if one is tired and wants to stay in, just walk across the street and down to the right you will see a small green house with a sign Haitian Food and I tell ya for about $10 a person you can get take out and it is the best chicken, ribs and rice and beans I have ever had...

Jan and Ann - The Netherlands Also this year we visited The Villa's of Great Bay. This time we stayed in villa 9. We had a splendid view and again we enjoyed our vacation very much. J.S. - Canada Sleeping with the French doors open while listening to the waves lapping the shore and smelling the sea air...staying at this residence was a wonderful experience. Frank and Sandy the managers, and the condo owner were wonderfully flexible in adapting to my schedule. Parking was available, wireless was excellent and the condo had all the benefits of home with views of cruise ships, tall majestic mountains and beautiful blue ocean. You can't go wrong!
Christina Bowman - I am a Medical Student that lived on wonderful Sint Maarten for about 2 years now. For my last few days on the island, I stayed at The Villas on Great Bay. My time spent on the island has always been great, but certainly a highlight for me while living on Sint Maarten was my time spent at The Villas. They were clean, had a fully functional kitchen, and provided us with many added extras that made our stay that much better (Coffee, a Bottle of wine, Cheese and Crackers, etc). When I come back in 2 years time for my graduation ceremony, I will most certainly be staying at The Villas on Great Bay!
