January Shelley – Calgary, AB, Canada - I just wanted to let you know that your facility is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept, the units are clean and the management staff are wonderful people. Some of the comforts of home combined with the beauty and adventure that the island has to offer. Being beach front and so close to the boardwalk/marketplace make your location superb. Just minutes away from some of the islands best shopping and a short walk to a beachside boardwalk full of open air restaurants and pubs.I had such a great time there with my friends that I will be returning with my children and some others so that they can all experience what I already have. Take care and see you again soon.

April Melanie – Kirkland Lake, Canada - Well I just returned from St Maarten 3 days ago and I wished I had booked 2 weeks MINIMUM. The location was perfect, not to close to the hustle and bustle of the cruise ship guests and shopping, but was definitely within walking distance, which we did often. I would stay at the villas again without a doubt. Frank was terrific!! We stayed in villa #1 (very private as it's an end unit). When I travel, I think of it as a room to sleep at night, I base my accommodations also on location, beaches, shopping and a pool. Therefore all my expectations were met. You're in St Maarten, and honestly why you want to be in a villa all day when there is beautiful beaches steps away and amazing shopping? LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it and would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks again Frank you were terrific and hope to see you again!!
April 2011 Ann Dreyer – Perfect Villa on the beach! My family stayed in this unit for our spring break in March, 2011. We absolutely loved the unit and had a wonderful time. The owners, Doug and Becky, thought of everything we could possibly need. We were very comfortable and with the beautiful views, even felt pampered all week! The location is perfect- our teenagers could walk to the boardwalk within minutes, and it was close to the dive shop that we used in Simpson Bay. We walked to Suki's store each morning for a fresh baguette to make sandwiches for our daily outing. Some nights, we used the grill to make a meal when we stayed in. I think we ate every single meal out on the patio as it was so pretty. The managers, Frank and Sandy, were outstanding- so helpful and full of information and just great people! We loved everything about St. Maarten and hope to be back. We really enjoyed Orient Beach, Friar's Bay, Bay Rouge, many restaurants in Grand Case, driving around the island and seeing other beaches, and diving with Ocean Explorers. When we do come back, we'd love to stay at the villas again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

July Julie & Karl , Montreal, Quebec, Canada We stayed at the Villas on Great Bay in July 2011. What a memorable experience ! The location on the edge of Philipsburg couldn't be better. A short walk to all the restaurants and shops, the beach in front of the Villas was always clean and inviting and the view of the cruise ships arriving and departing was just spectacular.
The Villas themselves were, secure, spacious, well furnished and exceptionally well kept. The hosts, Sandy and Frank, made it feel like home. They were well informed of all the great places to eat and shop and more than accommodating on all requests. They helped make the vacation enjoyable and a memorable experience! Thank you guys ! We cannot wait to book the villas again.

October/November Willem and Kim from Holland We have had a very wonderful time at the villa's. We got married on Sint Martin on 11-11-11 and were staying in three villa's with family and friends during 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to be. We enjoyed the beach and swimming pool! Coconuts are growing on the property and the guard helped us to open it. We had a nice day using the canoes and for all our questions (rental car, taxi, restaurants) Frank or Sandy were nearby. For sure we will come back to celebrate our marriage again. Willem and Kim
NovemberRuth, Jim and family from Virginia, USA We stayed at the Villas on Great Bay and it met and exceeded our expectations, the villa we stayed it was great, had everything we needed, like home. Our deck was amazing, we sat in the mornings watching the cruise ships come in, couldn't have asked for a pretty view. Frank and Sandy are the best, very nice and helpful. Anything we needed Frank got. Just one of the best vacations we have had. Definitely planning on going back next year.
November Maria-Luisa, Sandra, Juergen and Wolfgang – Germany - We were guests at the "The Villas on great bay" in November 2011. On our arrival we were welcomed warmly with an aperitif by the caretaker/administrator Frank. We liked our Villa #9 from the very start: The tasteful furnishing and the close location by the sea are wonderful. The villa is big enough for 4 persons. The kitchen gives you the opportunity to care for yourself. The big, comfortable and well equipped living room has a porch and a terrace. Both large bed rooms offer you enough room to relax. The villas are in walking distance to the center of Philipsburg, so you can reach midtown in a few minutes. Here, not only can you go shopping abundantly, but you can enjoy fine food in very good restaurants as well. The Villa was the ideal accommodation for our holiday in St. Maarten. We thank Luca, Frank and Sandy for this wonderful experience!
November Lyle and Linda, Scott and Patty Connecticut - Great management, Frank was waiting outside for us to arrive. He gave us a tour of the grounds and then showed us to our room. Frank then took the time to tell us about local hot spots. Everything from grocery shopping, dining, adventures and shopping. He also gave us coupons for some local restaurants. The villas are beautiful, clean and very well kept. Great location as well, it is within walking distance of downtown. View was also awesome, from your patio you can look out over Great Bay and watch the cruise ships come and go. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people there. I hope to stay with Frank and Sandy again soon.

December Magda, Irina and Costel Cincinnati Ohio - We just came back from a vacation in paradise in Sint Maarten. Our location was on the Great Bay in one of the 12 villas on Front Street ("The Villas on Great Bay"). The gated community is located directly on the beach, which has a private feeling. The tropical garden is wonderfully maintained. Before renting the villa we read the reviews and we expected something special. Well, it was very special indeed. From the first moment we felt like home and we look forward to return there. First of all it was quiet, a very important factor for us. Second, we could take long walks on the beach. After a very short walk one reaches an area with elegant shops and interesting restaurants. The scenery is superb. The place is surrounded by hills and, in a distance, there are cruise ships. We rented a car to visit the island but certainly this was not needed. This bay is one of the most beautiful places on the island. We would like to thank Frank and Sandy, the local managers, who did everything possible to make us feel well.

As a Realtor, those 3 words describe favourable property and The Villas on Great Bay provides location along with the perfect place for my Home Away From Home! I have always dreamt about staying in Villa 3! My dream became my reality! The relaxing contemporary white and blue decor provides the easy feeling needed for a vacation! Everything I needed was right there! Every morning I enjoyed my view of the ocean and at night, the sound of the waves was peaceful to the soul! Access to the white sand was perfect and walking the beach was a great way to warm my cold feet! The perfect location for those wanting to enjoy the shopping in Philipsburg! I enjoyed my time around the pool visiting with other guests, owners and the on-site Managers who all made sure that my vacation was perfect and it was! Thank you and I highly recommend the Villas for those who want to relax and enjoy the view and the peace, quiet and security of a great Home Away from Home!
December Robert & Connie Doiron Montreal, Canada - The Villas are a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed our time there immensely I highly recommend them. To call our accommodations a room would be underwhelming and inaccurate, it was a lovely two story apartment, the furniture was as comfortable as home. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full size stove and fridge if you felt the urge to cook and we had two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The Villas are centrally located on Front Street close to the great duty free shops and wonderful restaurants dotting the boardwalk. It is just a short walk to buses and taxis. The Villa we stayed in had a beautiful tropical garden just outside our door. We could watch hummingbirds and butterflies while we ate our breakfast on our private patio. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere at the Villas, it was more intimate than a hotel. If you got tired of the beach you could take a dip in the pool where you are guaranteed a chair not like some overcrowded Hotels.
