We had everything we needed plus more… Stayed in a luxurious villa and enjoyed all the island had to offer while being able to come back in the evening and relax in the pool and enjoy the amenities of the villa. Wally made a recommendation for a boat tour halfway through the week that was phenomenal; we will be back ! F.

The villa is comfortable, and the small market close by makes it convenient if you want to cook a meal for yourself. Ray C., Villa #2 - March 7 nights, 2025 Beauty after Beauty !! Had a marvelous stay at the Villas on Great Bay! Dougs place is a perfect spot to stay on Great Bay. The beautiful aqua waters and the warm sunshine and sandy beach you cannot beat! The villa is super clean and the view from living room and owners suite is breath taking! Serge helped us out with any of our questions and the others in the adjacent villas were so friendly and welcoming! The villa has all the amenities you ever need. Dougs list of restaurants, beaches and things to do was so helpful. We toured the island in our rental car and visited several of the 37 beaches. I highly recommend this villa and the island is one of the most beautiful place you will ever see! Ray C.

Karen L., Villa #9 - February 15 - 26, 2025 Amazing Beach Condo !! The beach just outside the condo doors was amazing. The pool is small but never crowded. The condo was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and comfortable living room and dining areas (inside and out). The condo is at the far end of the complex so the deck area is private and quiet. A charcoal grill is provided if you want to BBQ. The condo is walking distance to groceries, bars and restaurants which was really nice. We initially thought the unit had it's own washer and dryer but we have now clicked further into the amenities listed and see that it does mention that there is a community washer/dryer available for a fee. Overall, we had a lovely vacation. The property manager was very helpful and friendly and the owners were extremely kind and accommodating when we had unexpected changes to our booking prior to arrival. Karen L.

The location is perfect on the same beach and in the best area of Phillisburg. The host, Rose Marie, was attentive of us giving us directions on what to do, restaurants. She left us a basket with wine and gifts for our daughters. We liked everything. Jose.

Don't hesitate to book this!!!Spotlessly clean unit - not even a single grain of sand in the unit when we arrived!Lots of towels and beach towels provided. For our days exploring, the Rubbermaid water jug kept the water to refill our drinking bottles cold. Huge laundry basket simplified taking the snorkel and beach gear when we explored other beaches.Extraordinarily well stocked kitchen. Thank you for the few goodies to eat upon our arrival. Comfortable beds. Lovely bedding and pillows.Comfy outdoor seating; fan in the ceiling of the covered area. Nice pool. Pool noodles provided. Heaven to step out of bed, put on a bathing suit, stroll out the patio door, through the beach gate and right on to the sand and then into the ocean. Didn't even take a towel as so close! Gentle waves and sandy entry - a definite plus to stay on this beach. Beach in front of complex never busy, not even with six huge cruise ships in port. Wally and Serge were both super helpful. Communication with Pat and Larry was easy and quick. We were never left wondering about anything. Easy to park rental car on the street outside the complex. The surrounding area was quiet (unless a car occasionally went by with blaring music) and safe. Walking distance to fully stocked market shop, or a few minutes drive to the big Carre-Four. We ate out only four of 21 meals as we were happy to BBQ at the unit and sit out at one of the patio tables and eat. WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY BOOK THIS LOCATION AGAIN. Susan F.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property and villa 2 is an exceptional unit and well equipped for an extended stay. The villas on great Bay are ideally situated to walk to shopping, restaurant, bars, water, sports, etc. but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of cruise ship crowed. The owner is very responsive, the check-in process was easy and the property manager was available for anything we needed during our stay. I highly recommend staying here if you plan a visit to Saint Maarten. Trevor W.

Jeff., Villa #7, Foxie - November 14 - 21, 2024 Score 10 out of 10 !! This place was awesome!! Just a 2 minute walk to the Boardwalk and right on the ocean!! The grocery store was less then a block away! We had bad weather coming in so our flight was several hours late (dark and raining), but Rose and Serg were all over getting us in and situated! Made check-in a breeze! This was a perfect location! Loved the fact we had a covered 1st floor patio, perfect view of the ocean, kitchen had all we needed and nice and clean! The bedrooms were very spacious and beds were comfortable! Very nice infinity pool just a few steps away, the property was beautifully gated and felt super safe! We had some bad weather the first couple of days and this property made it super easy to still enjoy ourselves!! Serg dropped off the Newspaper every morning (on our patio table) and made sure we didn't need anything (if we were outside). We were left completely alone, but if we needed something we also felt very comfortable to ask. Just good people!! The pictures posted on Booking were VERY accurate. No deception at all! Cant say enough of how great this place was!! If/when we come back this will be the place we stay!! I cant think of anything I can say we did not like? A little better weather in the beginning, but no one can control Mother Nature..Lol! Jeff.
