Villa #9 on the east edge of 'Villas on Great Bay' complex, directly on the beach of Philipsburg, the capital of dutch St.Maarten. Being the side villa it offers more privacy and tranquilllity. On the ground floor: terrace on the beach with wooden floor, a lanai to enjoy meals and drinks in front of the ocean and a shady small side garden with outdoor shower (it's the only villa of the complex so featured). Inside there's a spacious living room with sofas and armchairs, flat screen LCD TV with cable, and stereo CD player. A comfortable queen sofa bed adds 2 sleeping places.Two steps go to the dining area with a big round table and four chairs. Finally a brand new kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, a big fridge, microwave, coffee machine and blender. Recently we fully stocked with dinner ware, cooking supplies and bar accessories. We also add an italian coffee maker, the traditional "Moka" to have a taste of the real home espresso. For guest convenience there is also a half bathroom. On the upper floor: one ocean bedroom (queen bed) with private deck over the beach, one garden bedroom (king bed, ocean side view), each one with full en-suite marble luxury bathroom with shower. Each room is equipped with cable Tv, ceiling fans and separately air-conditioner. Linen, towels and beach towels are provided. The common areas of the complex include an infinity pool sorrounded by long chairs, a breezeway sitting area and a lush tropical garden. Walter, our on-site property managers is ready to provide assistance, recommendations, car rental and directions.
Surroundings: The Villas on Great Bay complex is on the west side of Great Bay Beach. Few steps away you can find shops, fine restaurant and casinos. All these in the newly renovated areas of Front Street, and the new 'Promenade', the beach boardwalk. In addition, St. Maartin island features 37 wonderful different beaches, both in French and Dutch side. 20 minute boat ride to Anguilla Island and 40 minute boat ride to St. Barth with daily round trip excursions.
